Farm Club
Start your child’s day in nature! Being outside helps kids exercise their bodies and get ready for the day. Farm Club exposes kids to the plants and animals that provide us food, caring for and feeding ducks, goats and more!

Story Club
A great foundation to literacy is hearing—and retelling—great stories. Story Club is a multi-sensory club where kids will hear, explore and recreate stories with universal themes, from fairy tales to mythology. (Note: children do not need to be”readers” yet to enjoy this club!)
Each month presents a different story focus or theme. Past months have featured folk and fairy tales like Red Riding Hood, The Boy Who Cried Wolf, and Stone Soup.

Build Club
ages 4-8Transparent, absorbent, stable, rigid… Exposing kids to a variety of materials and vocabulary, in Build Club kids learn the properties of different materials and build projects that test their ideas.

Hike Club
Start your child’s day in nature! Hike Club takes kids into the stunning canyons and crest views in the foothills of Altadena.
Tuesdays or Fridays, 8:30-10:30

ages 4-8
Wonder Club
Kids wonder about animals, and wondering can lead to so much more! In Wonder Club kids will about animals, their biome, ecosystem, and the climate of that place. Ultimately they will learn about the traditional and contemporary people who call each place home.
Past themes include the Arctic, the Sonoran Desert and the Amazon rainforest. Themes changes every two months, however you can sign up for one month at a time.

ages 9-12
A limited group size and the regulating environment full of farm animals and food plants. in Farm Study, kids are free to relax, observe, and find creative, individually directed projects that meet their interests and abilities.

ArtxGarden
Bring a curiousity to how plants propagate, grow and thrive. Part biology, part art, in ArtxGarden kids learn about plants in the garden and express their new understanding though art using a variety of media: with projects in drawing, painting, and sculpture.

ages 9+Are you with a charter school that lists Rising Hill Learning? Once your enrollment is confirmed by email from the director, you will receive a prebill to help you submit to your charter for the correct amount. This will not be a request for payment from you!
